How to Use

Best Way to Use:
Chocolate & Hibiscus Shampoo

Step 1- Run luck warm water on your hair and scalp under fully saturated

Step 2- Pour a quarter size amount of shampoo in your palms and apply directly to the scalp. Work in same sections. Add more as needed focusing on applying closer to the scalp to focus on clarifying then scrub

Step 3- Rinse throughly focusing in clearing the scalp and allowing the water to run down the hair shaft freely. Repeat steps if needed and if looking for a squeaky clean

Step 4- Condition Hair with Borrowed from the Islands Chocolate & Hibiscus Conditioner

Great product.

I just love this clean rich oil. My coils love it, especially after my wash. The choice of oils and light scent is divine. I like to store it in my refrigerator until I’m ready to use it.

Must Have!!

I love this product. It smells great and leaves my hair and scalp feeling amazing. I bought Forbidden Roots to help with my edges; I've noticed a difference just after three weeks. This is a must in my weekly hair care routine. BTW a little of this oil goes a long way!!! My bottle is still pretty full, and I apply it all over my scalp. <3

Cleanses, it’s gentle and light, and a little goes a long way. 500 mls purchased in January 2022 has only reached half way and I wash every 7-14 days (big chop done in (February 2022). I love the personalised note that comes with the order, definitely shows the gratitude of the owner. The best switch I ever made from inorganic synthetic cosmetics, to a natural product made by someone that understands our needs. Well done sister!

It won’t disappoint

The faint smell of mango Ahh!! smells sooo good. I use this product when I need to deep condition my hair. The mask penetrates through my hair really well. It feels so silky. After washing it off I do feel a difference my hair. Its soft and I can EASLY comb through my hair.
